The Valley Community Watch is a eight year old organization made up of residents of what has become known as the Valley section of West Orange.

The area encompassed by the VCW Area is defined at the north western most point of Northfield and Gregory roads, south to the northern most border of South Orange at approximately Luddington Rd, and from Gregory road east to the Orange border.
Most of the Valley section is a part of the Hazel Elementary School district - one of the neighborhood elementary schools in the township.
The VCW's primary mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life in the neighborhood with resident outreach, open dialogue with the township administration, s
upport of the local schools and participation in the Neighborhood Preservation Program.
VCW board meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at Hazel Elementary School and are open to the public.
