School Budget Meetings

As you are probably aware, the 2010-2011 Board of Education Budget was defeated in the town-wide vote last Tuesday. It is now the responsibility of the Town Council to review the Budget line by line to determine any cuts they believe should be made.

The West Orange Town Council will be hearing public comment on the 2010-2011 School Budget. The meeting will begin with a Conference Agenda Session where the Budget Review Consultant will be approved and then introduced to explain the defeated school board budget and the timeline. It is important that the Council hears your voice. A final tax levy is due by May 19.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010
Conference Agenda Session begins at 6:30pm

Public comment begins at 7:00pm
66 Main Street in Council Chambers
