As you travel throughout the Valley Community, you may have noticed that many of us in the area have already begun decorating our homes with beautiful lights, garland, Menorahs, etc. In the spirit of the holiday season, we would like to feature your decorated homes on the VCW website throughout the season to exhibit the beauty in our community. The Board of Trustees of the Valley Community Watch would like to invite you to celebrate with us the end of 2009.

Joins us for some hot chocolate and cookies. Share some time chatting with other Valley residents, members of the West Orange Administration and the re-elected members of the VCW Board of Trustees.

We welcome any home baking you would like to bring. See you all there.

We will begin posting PDFs of  past meeting minutes soon. We will work backwards from the most recent meeting. We hope this will provide a resource for the neighborhood and an accessible record for future VCW leadership.

Nominations for Board Positions

On October 19th during the regularly scheduled general meeting of the Valley Community Watch and Civic Association, nominations for the Board of Trustees positions will be accepted. The term is for the 2010 – 2011 calendar year.

All residents of the Valley/Hazel neighborhood are welcome to submit their candidacy for:

• Chairperson
• Vice-Chairperson
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Communications/Membership
• Sgt at Arms
• Emeritus

All candidates must be present at the October 19th meeting and be accompanied by a VCW neighborhood resident to second their nomination.
